A new chapter for Awaken

As we are now into the second half of 2021, it feels like the most turbulent times are slowly starting to move away and the world can look forward to a brighter end to the year. In this article, we’ll share a look back on our 2021 so far and also share some exciting news about the next chapter for Awaken Intelligence.

Growing the A-Team

We’re immensely proud to have been able to keep supporting all our customers, being a source of consistency and reliability through the testing times they’ve faced. Despite the challenges of working from home and adapting to our new way of life, since the start of the pandemic we manage to continue our growth. We’ve recruited 17 new employees to enable us to reach even more businesses and help them to create their contact centres of the future.

Supporting the crisis response

One of our biggest achievements has been supporting the UK Government with contact centre technology for their crisis response strategy through the pandemic. Being selected as a trusted provider and contributing to the response effort at one of the most difficult times in modern history is something our team will never forget and we will always be proud of our involvement. As a result, we are now recognised as one of the cloud software as a service (SaaS) providers of choice for the Government and public sector organisations, providing conversation AI services as part of the latest G-Cloud 12 Digital Marketplace.

The next exciting step for Awaken

Starting from today, we’re incredibly excited to finally be returning to office life. After so long away from each other, we’re looking forward to being in the office together and for many of our new employees, it’s the first time they will meet the rest of their team face to face! Although Zoom and Teams have become a normal way of life, we can’t wait to be back meeting our customers face to face and enjoying in-person meetings.

With the move back to office working, it felt like a great time to review our locations so that we could help even more contact centres and continue our strategy for growth. So, we are really pleased to announce that we have reopened our London office in a different location. From today, our London team will be working from our new office near London Bridge. Our London team are back in the office working from 10th of August 2021, with our Ipswich office returning from August 16th.  We will also be opening our 3rd location in Arundel on 16th August.

This has been a time of tremendous change, but we have also seen the incredible resilience and strength of our team to continue supporting our customers every single day. We are a team who will always go the extra mile for the contact centres we work with, and we are really looking forward to continuing our growth as a company. It’s our mission to help more businesses to see the complete picture for their contact centre and benefit from the huge operational improvements and financial growth opportunities that our solutions provide.
